There are 4 bungalows at Puri Sawah, each in close proximity to each other, to the restaurant and also to the owner's family house.

Quoted from the Lonely Planet Southeast Asia Travel Guide 2001 edition:

"These bungalows were built to a very high standard to accomodate friends and family visiting from the United Kingdom. The upstairs bungalow is decorated very tastefully in Balinese style, private bathroom with squat toilet. The attractive downstairs bungalow has a western toilet. The restaurant (mid-range to cheap) offers excellent Indonesian and Western food. Highly recommended".

Quoted from the Lonely Planet Southeast Asia Travel Guide 2008 edition:

"A little out of town, up a steep access road, this place enjoys sweeping views and has spacious, comfy rooms and huge bungalows. There's a lush garden and a good cafe with Indonesian and Western food".

Unlike the Bali hotels, these bungalows are private and quiet whilst still benefitting from the services you would recieve at a hotel i.e. clean towles, breakfast etc. Below is a photo of the private balcony that Bungalow A has to offer. This bungalow benefits from hot water.

Below is a photo of Bungalow B - The Family Bungalow. The 2 single beds are on a seperate floor.
As you can see, it is clean, spacious and it has a lot of character.
